“There is no greater privilege than to be able to serve and give back to my community.”

Paul has been a resident of Burlington for over 20 years and had always known that he wanted to work and be a part of the Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) community. For him, it holds a special connection to his own family.

“Both of my children were born at this very hospital."

For the last two years, he has been working as an MRI Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging department.

“When I first started here, I found a very welcoming community of health care professionals and support staff,” he said “It’s a state of the art hospital, with beautiful facilities but it still has that small town feel.”

By working at JBH, his commute is now 10 minutes each day, leaving him with more time to spend with his family before and after work. He also credits the location of the hospital along the banks of Lake Ontario as a big factor in his happiness.

“I love the fact that I can spend some of my breaks outside by the waterfront for a quick recharge. An added bonus of the hospital’s location is that I can meet up with my family right after work downtown. This is especially great when festivals are taking place at Spencer Smith Park.”

At Joseph Brant Hospital, you too can enjoy the benefits of being close to home, in an inspiring location and welcoming community.
